1. What the service is

Ayvalık App is a mobile app and website offering guide information, maps, transport timetables, an events calendar and a business directory for Ayvalık, Cunda, Sarımsaklı, Altınova and Küçükköy. By using the site or the app you accept these terms.

2. Accuracy of information

Information in the app is for general guidance.

Transport times, business opening hours, prices and event programmes are set by third parties and may change without notice. We try to keep this information as current as we can; before setting out, we recommend confirming with the relevant operator or business directly.

We are not liable for the consequences of decisions you make based on incorrect, incomplete or out-of-date information.

3. Pricing, free trial and subscription

• The app can be tried free for 7 days.
• At the end of the trial, a subscription or a one-off purchase is offered to those who wish to continue. The current price is shown on the purchase screen.
• Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play. The charge is taken from your store account.
• A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can cancel from your device's store account settings.
• If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.
• Refund requests are subject to the refund policy of the store where the purchase was made.
• If prices change, existing subscribers are informed before renewal.

Right of withdrawal: for digital content and services performed immediately by electronic means, there is no right of withdrawal under the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation. This is presented for your approval at the moment of purchase.

4. Business listings

Business listings may be compiled from publicly available sources or created by the business's own application. No fee is charged for a listing.

No products or services of businesses are sold through the app; the user is directed to the business's own contact channels. We are not responsible for the relationship or transaction between the user and the business.

5. User content

If you post a review, rating, listing or photo:

• You confirm that the content is yours or that you have the right to share it.
• Posts containing insults, hate speech, misleading information, advertising or another person's personal details are removed.
• We reserve the right to remove non-compliant content and, where necessary, suspend the account.
• No review or photo is published before approval; pending content is visible only to you and the moderation team.
• Location and device data (EXIF) in uploaded photos is stripped automatically on the server.
• Every published review and photo carries a report button; reported content is reviewed and removed where necessary.
• Do not upload photos in which other people are clearly identifiable without their permission.

User reviews are the opinion of the person who wrote them.

6. Sponsored content

If content has been published for a fee, this is stated clearly on the content itself.

7. Third-party links

The app may contain links to map, transport, accommodation or business sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

8. Intellectual property

The Ayvalık App name, logo, design, texts and software belong to us. They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without permission.

9. Limits of liability

The service is provided "as is". We make no commitment that it will run uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

10. Changes and effect

We may update these terms; the current text takes effect when published on this page.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law.
